Application of Intelligent Road Control

Summary/Abstract: The work will show the possibility of the reduction of CO2 to the atmosphere through the smooth control of traffic within the urban agglomeration. The presented method can be applied to the cause and effect analysis of bottlenecks occurring within the city. An analysis will be presented in the direction of future development research, where other methods of supporting urban traffic control, i.e. fuzzy sets or neural networks, hybrid methods and heuristics,can be proposed. Depending on the size of the space, different methods should be used to solvea specific problem. In the case of small spaces, classical methods are sufficient. However, inthe case of larger spaces, specialized methods of artificial intelligence are used, among which genetic algorithms can be distinguished. Every even the smallest improvement of vehicle trafficin the long term will give huge benefits to both the environment and our organization.
