Contemporary Changes in the Social Environment of Work and Satisfaction from Work and Quality of life of Employees

Summary/Abstract: In the modern world of economic and cultural globalization there are constant changes in the sphere of interpersonal communication, work or consumption. The most important determinants of the sphere of work are connected with the development of globalization and new information and communication technologies. Increased competition in the global sphere, progressing technological development are challenges and in some aspects pose the threat in the social and economic sphere of human life. They affect the way of work, including communication, interpersonal relationships, working time, as well as the balance between work and private life. The article presents selected new phenomena in the social work environment and the consequences of these trends for employees and their quality of life presented on the example of employees in the Częstochowa region.
