Summary/Abstract: Work-Life Balance (W-LB) promotes activities aimed at achieving a balance between the employee’s professional life and his private life. It is not only about strict separation of the private and professional sphere, but rather about their harmonious combination and penetration, so that work, family and passions create a coherent whole. The aim of the article is to present the concept of W-LB, and in particular to discuss its effects for of spending leisure time and increasing its quantity.The article was written on the basis of secondary sources of information obtained from scientific publications and results of statistical surveys.
