Summary/Abstract: Education software represents a complex concept resulting from the science ofdesigning programs (software engineering) on electronic devices (computers, in the first hand),education sciences and communication sciences. In the Romanian language literature there aredifferent interpretations of this concept, not always complete or correct, one reason being that theauthors come from different domains and they treat this subject unilaterally. This paper bringssome clarification on the education software and on the link of this concept with other relatednotions.
