The emergence of its secret nuclear program and the conflict with the USA and Israel has moved Iran to the top of the international agenda in recent years. While the Community which has been constantly criticized for not being able to produce an effective common foreign policy, is forced to be a negatiator and to pass a significant foreign policy test as well. There are many studies about Iran’s nuclear crisis in the literature but many of them discuss the details of the Israeli and the US policies against Iran, while very few of them deal with the role of the EU on this dispute.
