Summary/Abstract: Progress in tooling and information technology is a significant contributor to the potential for global logistics development, thus stimulating the development of alternative chain planning solutions – corporate networks of business relationships. One example that can be used to describe this trend is the development of trade based on auction platforms such as eBay.com or Allegro.pl. The Internet auctions facilitate relationships and create a business model based on relationships of co-operation and competition. Auction portals as a locus of game is a multidimensional problem that needs to be addressed at different and a very detailed level of analysis. Important factors to assess the strength and scope of the cooperative game relationship may be: the number of market players, their stock and price position relative to the analyzed enterprises, and the use of IT tools and technologies.
