Summary/Abstract: Teaching children in the Kingdom of Poland because of the anti-Polish politics of tsarism assumed forms of the clandestine education. Classes were conducted in private houses. It was being called the home school. Mieczysław Brzeziński was an author of the program for these schools. A week’s timetable included: religion, learning to read, learning of accounts, geographical and historical reading texts, the letter and picture, the play and singing. Children got to know elements of the knowledge as well as were learning to love God and homeland. There were attached pointers to the program how to run courses for teachers working in the village. That kind of activity had a criminal record severely.
