The forms of supporting children and adults with mental disability

Summary/Abstract: There are a number of institutions and organizations currently in Poland that work for people with intellectual disabilities in order to promote their development. These are: early intervention centers, rehabilitation and education centers, integrative schools and kindergartens, special schools and kindergartens, special vocational schools, occupational therapy workshops, “school of life” supported employment enterprises, nursing homes, supported housing.
