Family as a link to school prevention

Summary/Abstract: Pedagogical experience over the years has an impact on the educational and preventive school system. This raises the question as to whether the recently imposed school regulations involving prevention and safety procedures are fully understood by school staff, parents and students? Doubts arise when analyzing the primary prevention component, which is the quality of the relationship between school and family unit. Studies show that, despite the formulated theoretical postulates about the need to establish a positive and rewarding relationship between the school and the family, in practice such a relationship is difficult to see. There are, of course, individual initiatives and passionate teachers who can engage in cooperation with the parents. Their existence is a proof that this cooperation is possible and should be carried out. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take place at all the schools. This is a worrying problem, requiring the analysis and a sincere interest on the part of school authorities, the local community and parents.
