Summary/Abstract: The diagnosis, the analysis and the interpretation carried out in this study are a procedure aimed at finding the answers to the question of how parents perceive the resources of prenatal education. The main issues of the research can be placed in a specific methodological sphere, at the meeting point of special education, family education, health education, social pedagogy, Christian education and the sociology of education. The interdisciplinary approach allows for a wider identification of the situation of the parents involved in the dynamics of the biological, family and social processes. Going into the essence of human attitudes and multiple factors constitutes an urgent verification of the human potential, determining all rational transformations in the field of family education. The study is based on the diagram of a typical triad, with three separate parts, i.e. the theoretical, methodological and empirical one. However, the balance between them is far from classical solutions. It has been assumed that the more extensive the empirical content, the greater the amount of new knowledge, and therefore – the most valuable knowledge. The results of the analyzes undoubtedly have an applicable nature and can be used both in practice and in the field of theoretical education. The author believes that his paper will be perceived both as a point in the debate over the identity of prenatal education and as a sign of concern for the child’s development from the earliest stages of his/her development.
