Summary/Abstract: The objective of the study is to introduce the reader to some vital aspects related to the application of information security management systems used in civil engineering companies and their influence on building stability in the sector. Security systems are one of the elements of market success of the study organizations. Information security, services security, IT security and decision making security in a contemporary institution are the key elements of gaining competitive advantage by construction companies on both domestic and international markets. What is more, stable functioning and continuity of employment provide a feeling of security to their employees. The building of stability within a company is a rising challenge not only for the study construction sector but also for every other organization.
