Armed Conflict in the Case-law of International Human Rights Institution and Courts

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of two questions concerning the human rights implementation within armed conflicts: the question of mutual relation between the human rights protection and international humanitarian law and the issue of extrateritorial application of human rights. These issues are discussed and illustrated on the particular decisions and statements of ICJ, UN Commitee for Human Rights, Inter-American Commission for Human Rights, African Court of Human and Peoples’ Rights and above all on the case-law of the ECtHR.
