Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the progress and results of the project, which was performed for a cross-docking terminal. The goal of the project is to verify designed concepts of warehouse space organization in cross-docking terminal. Expected results of new space organization (layout) is the improvement of loading and unloading processes, reduction of total distance traveled by company internal transport vehicles, which directly affects financial results of the company. The project consists of creating the eight concepts models. First model presents the original, previous situation in terminal. The other seven different conceptual models show designed concepts of pallet places locations in storage area. Comparison of data collected in simulation models allows determining which concepts are solution to company problems and select the best of them.
