Summary/Abstract: During the four-year undergraduate education in the departments of music education, individual instruments training is provided with various instruments (violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, guitar, baglama, etc.). This formal training in music education department at twenty-six faculties in Turkey are carried out under practical courses. The content of the course is expected to strengthen the knowledge that the student can use in personal teaching life and to increase the level of proficiency in personal instrument in direct proportion to the grade level, and also to bring the student to the level determined in personal instrument.The individual instrument training course requires high performance of students and instructors. During this time, the individual instruments of the students become a part of their lives. They should have prepared their bodies and minds for an average of 6-7 hours per day and should practice according to the correct posture rules. In other studies, it has been determined that this occupation which requires position and high performance contrary to correct posture is a risky job in terms of physical health. In this research, it is aimed to measure the level of knowledge of students and faculty members about this subject, although physical problems that students may encounter in time. The research is a descriptive study based on the survey research model. The study group consisted of 17 instructor in the Department of Music Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Faculty of Education, Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University and I. II. III. And IV. 85 students studying in the classroom. The data of the research was collected and processed in accordance with the questionnaire developed by the researchers, and the data were analyzed and interpreted.According to the data obtained, students and ınstructor have physical disorders in the neck, waist and back regions, and the instructors and students are not aware of the main disorders that may arise from playing instruments. According to the students, instructors have low level of informing themselves about physical disorder caused by playing instruments; according to the teaching staff, the level of informing students about this issue varies with this ratio.
