Summary/Abstract: Since the beginning of cultural history, terra cotta material has had a wide usage area. In the light of the archaeological sources, in every period and culture it is observed that ceramic potsor covering surfaces are decorated with the need to be aesthetized. From the past to the present, ceramic material has been evaluated by artists as a painting surface. Nowadays, it is seen that there is no limit to the use of materials in interdisciplinary art contexts. In this context, the place of Bedri Rahmi Eyuboğlu in Turkish art is important in terms of his works in the field of painting and ceramics. He was not confined to a single type of art, but also skillfully interpreted ceramic materials. His works that bring the art of ceramics and painting together, which are rooted with the understanding of moving traditional arts, are still valuable examples for young generations.
