Summary/Abstract: In the linguistic literature, we have repeatedly talked about pleonasm as a mistake of expression. However, it is still attested in current speech, in the press, and beyond. In this article, we will analyze some common cases in which the pleonasm appears, referring to conclusive examples, which we have selected, especially, from texts related to the field of art. Also, we will specify the correlation between the pleonasm and tautology as figures of style, their individual character in the artistic context - a variety of justifiable repetition, with different accents of expression.
