Summary/Abstract: Accomplishing and assuring national security by the competent authorities’ implies, most of the times, gathering and obtaining information from different locations, environments or areas of interest. Throughout the article, there are analyzed general aspects regarding the management of intelligence activity for national security, in terms of components of the informational process - gathering, analyzing and verifying information.
