Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author focuses on identifying the education’s role in the complex national security system. Starting with the security dimensions, which the author connects with everyday human activities, national security and human security are being correlated. Hence, education is identified as one of the major factors at the level of the cultural dimension of security, a level from which it can significantly influence other security dimensions, such as the economic, social or military ones.
