Summary/Abstract: During recent years while being influenced by many improvements in world economy, tourism, IT communication etc, English language has significantly expanded its role. It is not taught and used only as a language subject anymore, but rather as a tool for learning content and language together. This new approach is called Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). This paper will deal with the basic introduction into CLIL particularly dealing with the methodology of this new, and innovative teaching approach. Since it has not fully defined its methodology yet, this paper summarises all methodological features found in works, paper researches, projects related to CLIL that teachers may found helpful in their understanding and later on, implementing of this approach into their classes.
