Summary/Abstract: The values education, which was started education in the family and then transferred by trainers in the schools, is defined as an integrative form that states the quantitative and qualitative importance of concepts in the literature. Because the value judgments adopted by the individuals reflect the society they belong to and the cultural texture of the society, it is of great importance in terms of language teaching in the context of the language-culture relationship. Today, Turkish education programs, which conducted by many institutions, organizations or centers in domestic and abroad, aim to gain listening, reading, speaking and writing skills, as well as to introduce Turkish culture, to love. The texts, textbooks, videos, songs, pictures, materials and tutorials, which contain cultural codes of target language in the process of transfering values to Turkish for foreigners, constitute an important place. In this study, it was aimed to examine the “Yesevi Türkçe B1” level textbook who were taught at the Preparatory School of the Khoja Ahmet Yassawi International Turkish-Kazakh University in terms of value education. In study, based on the classification of values education of Schwartz, assessments were made on the extent to which the value is dependent.
