Summary/Abstract: The article presents pastoral teaching of Radom bishops over the years 1992-2012 presented in the context of regular parts of the liturgical year such as: Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter. Bishops with sensitization for the need to shape the faith of the “sheep” entrusted to them. In 20 years they sent 100 pastoral letters trying to explain the important foundations of the Catholic faith. First chapter of the article treats about Advent as a waiting time for the coming of the Savior putting in charge the pattern of Mary. Special attention is appose by the bishops to the preparation of the Lord's coming. In the second chapter about Christmas, attention of the bishops focuses on the new life and his defense. The next chapter addresses the issue of Lent, preparation by fasting, prayer and alms for Easter and parousia. The last chapter refers to the center of the Catholic faith, that is, the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It should be noted that the presented article is probably the first in Poland elaboration of the teaching Radom bishops in pastoral letters during the liturgical year. The author of the article hopes that the efforts made to analyze texts directed to the faithful will contribute to more in-depth reflections on the directions of further pastoral teaching.
