Summary/Abstract: The problem of resources of all kinds is an urgent topic at the moment, and it is being more and more frequently discussed lately in academia, politics and media. Everyone is seeking solutions for energy, food and water supplies. Uncontrolled exploitation of soil and subsoil of the earth led ultimately, among other things, in addition to soil degradation, to significant climate change, with important implications on national security. The issue of energy resources will be solved by using alternative resources. The national security, the resources and the environment are interrelated, as they are essential tool for life and develop only together. The solution to these problems is regional cooperation.
