Contemporary Challenges for Polish Cultural Security – Selected Issues

Summary/Abstract: Recently, there has been a growth of interest in the soft security – information, social, ecological and cultural security. State cultural security is related not only to strictly cultural threats, but also to military threats (armed conflicts and their consequences), threats to law and order which result from increasing migration processes worldwide or information threats concerning contemporary communication techniques. It is clearly connected with political, ideological, social and public state security. The objective of this article is to discuss selected threats to current cultural security in Poland, which may become a serious challenge for the state and society.
