Summary/Abstract: Traditional media in recent years, with the increasing mass development of the Internet, is viewed with changes that have not occurred since their existence. Namely, numerous media, such as television, newspapers, radio, books and magazines, are increasingly replacing people with only one medium - digital. As the Internet takes over everyone's primates, people are increasingly turning to digital devices, smartphones, and computers, with which they find information and have fun with the Internet. This is how we release traditional methods. By developing devices of modern times, such as smart phones (smartphones), tablets, and e-readers, digital or new media achieved by increasing the expansion and popularization among users. Since we live in a fast moving world, simplicity, availability and portability become standards, which is actually the main characteristic of the new media. However, one should not ignore the fact that there are still a handful of people, lovers of print media, who are trying to resist the rush of digital media. These are older generations who can not imagine morning coffee without print media and are largely contributing to the survival of print media in the market. On the other hand, a new generation immediately decide on digital media, not trying to feel the charm of the traditional media, they though them expensive and boring even if they can buy them only for one mark (!). Listening to the news on the radio and watching the news on TV has today been replaced by new media - portals, where we can also read, watch and hear this news. Because of all this, new generations are at a turning point. Tradition requires reading of books, however, nowadays, more and more of them are digital - on the Internet. Identical thing with traditional media. The irreplaceable smell of newspapers, unfortunately, represents nothing among the young generations. Due to the current situation in the society, more and more traditional media are trying to survive by creating their platforms and in online form, that is, on the Internet. But the question is whether the development of new media is an upgrade of the traditional media or their disappearance.
