Summary/Abstract: The article examines the conception of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic as judicial body charged with protection of constitutional rule and especially with the notion of „the inconsistency of law“ with the constitutional order of the Czech Republic. The author distinguishes between the notions of the innocsistency and of „the non-conformity“ and draws nocclusions in the field of the relation constitution – acts of Parliament and acts of Parliament – by-laws. Subsequently he analyses cca 20 reasons for inconsistency of acts of Parliament with the constitutional order of the Czech Republic in the judicature (cca 250 judgments) of the Constitutional Court.
