Summary/Abstract: Learning Chinese language is a hot trend in the world recent years. More and more scholars are doing research on this field. This paper analyses the possibility to apply films and television materials to Chinese teaching, from the ground of the theory of Second Language Learning. The teaching practice has showed that it is an effective approach to apply films and televisions materials to listening and speaking classes, writing classes and comprehensive classes.
