The Research on How Confucius Institutes Promotes the Minority Language Translation and Spread of Chinese Literature Works

Summary/Abstract: Abstract: Currently there is more and more communication between China and Central-Eastern European countries, among them the translation and promotion of Chinese literature works is a very important aspect. However, the amount of minority language translation of Chinese literature works is relatively small. Therefore, The Confucius Institutions in Central-Eastern European countries should work on the education of translators and readers, cooperation with local publishing houses and writers’ associations, organization of Chinese literature promotion activities in order to facilitate the local people to understand China better through reading Chinese literature works.
