Glagolitic heritage of Lovran and its current research

Summary/Abstract: The Glagolitic heritage of Lovran has not been considered too representative in the literature. The paper questions this judgment and represents hitherto known Glagolitic monuments from the Lovran region with a brief review of existing literature about them. It shows the diversity of the preserved Glagolitic monuments: liturgical texts, Glagolitic inscriptions, „Kvaderna kapitula lovranskoga“, other legal monuments. Although the Glagolitic heritage of Lovran is not too rich, available data testify the continuity and the former deep rootedness of Glagolism in that area.
