Life-Building in the book of Vitaly Kalpidy "Philosophy of Poetry"

Summary/Abstract: The idea of a "poetry corporation", developed by Kalpidy, is considered. In the book, which collected essays and diary entries from different years, the Ural poet and Kulturtrager builds a coherent concept of provincial poetry as a zone of "cultural separatism" and freedom of life creation, formulates the code of a provincial poet, and speaks of the high mission of poetry in modern society. The contemporary methods of promoting poetry in society implemented by Kalpidy are investigated. The focus is on the problem of author, as Kalpidy understands it. A parallel is drawn with the image of V. Bryusov, the leader of Moscow Symbolists.
