Summary/Abstract: This paper brings forward rituals and ceremonies relating to Easter. The origins of the feast, the significance and the variety of Easter egg decorations have fascinated folklorists and ethnologists for many years. The Christians of Sibiu County, like all the Christians in Romania, celebrate Easter piously; they respect it and make it unique.
