Summary/Abstract: Rešad Kadić (1912-1988) left behind the extensive literary work, and there was almost no genre in which this author did not create: novels, stories, chants, poems, humour stories, journalistic texts, and also it was important his editorial work in oral literature. All mentioned was indication of the unusual creative phenomenon of this writer. In this context, it was interesting that during his life Kadić established the connection with his mother's native town, Tešanj, where he was buried, after his own discretion. This connection was obvious through six stories in which the city, its inhabitants, life and unusual events were spoken directly or indirectly, and today we are reading from them, at least through indications, of the past and of a different time. When we talk about connection of Rešad Kadić with town Tešanj, we cannot leave out an interesting story about the young citizen from Tešanj, legionary Sabit Abduzaimović, a restless youthful spirit who followed his wishes and dreams, within which the journalistic and literary discourse have intertwined. In this story, the connection with Tešanj was also shown, but now not the author’s, but the main character Sabit Abduzimović, Kadić's friend from childhood.
