Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with embroidered decorations that women embroidered and decorated the walls of their homes. It does not illuminate the role of woman as mother, housewife, cook of faithful spouse, housekeeper, woman victim of war sufferings, but speaking in modern language, her role as communicators in messaging to others outside and within the community. There is woman’s very important role in transmitting the signs of culture and the culture of memory, because not only women from Bosnia and Herzegovina embroidered, women from Sweden, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq were embroidered, bounded with their joint destinies
