Summary/Abstract: Online dispute resolution with the help of the ODR platform at Union level has been conceived as one of the methods for developing the Single Market, in its digital dimension. The article aims to present the mechanism of online dispute resolution stemming from sales or service contracts, as well as its effectiveness and usefulness for both consumers and traders.
