Summary/Abstract: The Gazi Husrev-beyLibrary, one of the most important research and cultural institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, belongs to the most important Muslim libraries in Europe. The Sarajevoinstitution has operated uninterruptedly for over 480 years. Renewed and extended after the Balkan war, now it serves as both a library and a museum.
