Summary/Abstract: In this article the author discusses what sort of subjectivity could today appear as „katehon” i.e. as the one which confronts contemporary world capitalism. Analysing Negri’s idea of ontology of the monster, as a specific ontology of those who have not been, in either historical-philosophical or political categories represented in the system, the author further focuses on the critical reflection of the work Marx beyond Marx. In response to Negri’s argument about the differentiation between biopolitics and biopower as the most crucial potential for new subjectivity, a key paradox of the idea that capitalism is already communism is exposed. On the other hand, in conclusion, a return to Spinoza is placed forward and - in difference to Negri’s reading of Spinoza - is presented as a pathway for rethinking production of life, politics and immanence which would signify new communism.
