On the legal status of legal advisers

Summary/Abstract: This paper is a polemic of sorts against A. Kidyba’s article, published in Radca Prawny vol. 1/2014, concerning the doubts associated with whether legal advisers should be considered freelancers, practitioners of a regulated profession, or entrepreneurs. The author attempts to demonstrate that legal advisers combine all these elements, a fact that makes their legal status unclear to some extent. This situation is unfavorable to the professional transparency of legal advisers, thus a change begs consideration. Opening a discussion about the professional status of legal advisers appears topical and necessary.
