Summary/Abstract: The members of the Nocny Kochanek band have been operating on the heavy metal musicmarket since 2003, although for several years they did not achieve any major success. Thebreakthrough came in 2012, when on the margin of their “serious” activity, the musicianscreated a few mocking songs. The first one was composed for Captain Bomba’s animation.Under the name of Nocny Kochanek (suggested by director Bartek Walaszek), and remainingin the idiom of metal and drawing in handfuls from the canon of the genre, the musiciansbegan to create more and more playful texts, ridiculing the idea of the style being practiced;at the same time, consciously becoming a parody of their own past.
