Summary/Abstract: Mustafa Ejubović, better known as Šejh Jujo, was among the most prominent Bosniak authors who wrote in Arabic, Turkish and Persian language during the entire period of the formation of this type of literary work in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By his various and rich scientific work, evidenced by the manuscripts of his works, Mustafa Ejubović had a significant place in entire creativity of the Muslim authors of epoch in which he lived. This was confirmed by catalogues of several libraries in the world, various lexicons, encyclopaedias and bibliographies in which his works were cited and represented them. Life and work of this writer is well known thanks to biographies about him written by his disciple Ibrahim Opijač and by the poet Mustafa Huremi from Mostar. Significantly important was the Opijač’s biography because, apart from the scientific work of Mustafa Ejubović, he was also presented him as a prominent man of high moral qualities, highly educated and committed teacher. Huremi's work, mostly confirmed what was found in the biography written by Opijač. Particularly helpful were the personal notes of Mustafa Ejubović written on the margins and in the colophon of his works, and on the margins of the manuscript of other works that he rewrote, read, and used them while he wrote. These notes were related to the content of works, as well as writing time or rewriting other works and bibliography of his works. Mustafa Ejubović and his work was also the subject of a numerous researchers, production of scientific studies, dissertations and bibliographies.
