Summary/Abstract: In the autumn of 2019 it was half a century since the moment when an employee of the local museum Bohumil Peroutka set himself alight in the yard of the Vsetin palace. It was a tragic end for a man who was fully dedicated to research work, and whose professional expertise and humanity are still remembered by his former colleagues, friends and students.
