Keywords: philosophical intuition; linguistic intuition; naturalism; thought experiment.
Summary/Abstract: This article proposes a theoretically modest view of philosophical and linguistic intuitions, namely that these intuitions are empirical central-processor responses to phenomena. This view is meant to accommodate the evidential role that intuitions play in philosophy and linguistic without resort to the a priori or the mental representation of linguistic principles.
