CONTRIBUTION OF MEHMED HADŽIJAHIĆ'S WORKS IN KNOWING OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA'S PAST (ON THE OCCASION OF THREE DECADES OF MEHMED HADŽIJAHIĆ'S DEATH)

Summary/Abstract: Among the prominent personalities of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the 20th century, Dr. Muhamed Hadžijahić with his turbulent and interesting life and rich research and scientific work, took one of the most important places. And after three decades of his passing away, numerous books, articles, stories and reviews are nowadays the subject of interest and citation by many scientists who deal with the past of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its population's life. But many people in this country, as well as the wider region have lack of adequate knowledge of life and scientific contribution of this great erudite, who dealt with research papers by decades, wrote many studies and published numerous articles in the most famous national and international journals of that time. In this paper we will give basic information about this person and his work.
