Summary/Abstract: The study deals with the origin and discursive methods of the so-called Moravian school of criticism in the 1880s, focusing primarily on its disagreements with the work of the Prague literary center. In connection to the sociology of literature by Pierre Bourdieu, the differentiation is understood as a means to gain a share in the symbolic market of the Czech literary field.
