Summary/Abstract: Climate change represents one of the most threatening factors to biodiversity, human wellness and global security. More and more frequently, these manifests in extreme weather (drought, floods, and storms) and in modifications of the worldwide seasons’ pattern. In this paper, we synthetically present information about: climate change and the mechanisms behind it, in parallel with the worldwide water crisis; climate change and its impact on the biodiversity, as well as its impact on ecosystems’ and humans’ health, outlining the measures that need to be made in order to alleviate these effects.
