Summary/Abstract: Immigration to the cities have occurred in Turkey in order to handle with the manpower deficit after industrialization and city populations have increased. Besides economical reasons, some social and cultural factors affect movement of migration with a significant contribution. Among the socio-cultural factors which causes migration there are numbers of factors such as industrialization, education, and social features of the placed to migrate. Socio- psychological factors originated from the differences between country and city life and measurements. There are critical roles fall to local administrations about domestic migration. Within this framework, local administrations work upon providing the integration of the immigrants to the city, eliminating unplanned urbanization and carrying out urban transformation. In other respects, local administrations should produce projects in order to develop the area, reduce the development differences and hinder domestic immigration.
