Knowledge accumulation about 1 December in Kindergarden and the Primary Cycle

Summary/Abstract: The first knowledge about the Great Union from 1918 is taught in kindergarten and refers to the countries that existed on the teritories of Romania 100 years ago, the reason why they united forming Romania today, the language they spoke and still use today, nationality, the soldiers who have fallen on the battlefields to defend their own country. In kindergarten this information is taught integrally, preschoolers being involved in the succesfull progress of the activity. The knowledge about the Great Union gained in kindergarten will be completed by those accumulated in the primary classes that refers to the details of this union: the leaders and the union chronology as well as the personalities of that time that participated in accomplishment of the union. Lessons about the Great Union, the primary school puts accent on the accumulated knowledge in kindergarten. These lessons will educate both preschoolers and the small school children in the ways of the national spirit values: freedom, democracy, human dignity and tolerance.
