Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the relationship that exists between a referential space, the layout of the page, and the poetic « I » in the works Dans la Chaleur vacante and Ou le Soleil. It appears in the distance that the poet creates between the object of the perception and the subject. But, hesitating between stillness and motion, inside and outside, the breaking away of the poetic « I » is accomplished, paradoxically, in order to allow for comprehension of the outside world, which questions at the same time the representation of the space, the place of the subject and the naming power of poetry.
