Consideration on the Foundation of the Society of Jesus

Summary/Abstract: The present paper presents the story of a Spanish soldier, who became the founder of the well-known Society of Jesus. Before being the founder of the Jesuit order, Ignatius went through different intellectual and spiritual transformations. After completing his education, Ignatius of Loyola gathered members from among intellectuals and submitted his ideas of converting the heathen. Together they became the most effective religious order of the Papacy against Protestantism. After the foundation of the Jesuit order, the Supreme General of the Society of Jesus organised the Jesuit members in different classes and colleges, so as to manage their missions throughout the world.
