Summary/Abstract: One of the biggest issues in courses and learning materials is that they are usually too inductive, too explicative and entirely too transmissive. In order to ensure that students grasp a concept, learning materials tend to use a single logic path from simplicity to complexity that shows, presents or explains things from only one point of view. Usually truths are presented as established dogma, which doesn’t do much to encourage deductive and investigative thinking on the students’ part, neither helps students understand that science is made using models built on data and presuppositions.
