Summary/Abstract: The paper highlights the long-term effects of stress, which can have physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual consequences on humans. These are usually mixed as stress affects the whole person. From a physical point of view, stress can compromise their physiological balance, and on the other hand, it can help to cope with the stress situation. The emotional consequences of stress can take the form of negative or non-constructive feelings about themselves. In the intellectual sphere, it affects the ability of perception and problem solving. In the social sphere, stress affects the individual's relationships with others, and in the spiritual sphere can change his general views on life, so I consider it important to pay attention to this topic.
