Summary/Abstract: Based on examples of good practice at the workshop will be explained importance of public relations, lobbying, media and communication skills. How libraries support the goals of sustainable development and why UN Agenda 2030 is an important document for all kinds of libraries, will be also discussed at the workshop. IFLA’s consistent position is that access to information is essential in achieving this goals and libraries should be recognized as a key partners for governments because they already contributing to progress towards the achievement of the UN Agenda.
